This is a conversion of the 1926 Mack log truck to a 1926 tractor. I built a period correct 5th wheel. The updated headlights and triple tire rear wheels are resin products from Industrial Model Design by Richard Mark. (They are no longer available.)
This truck is meant to look like a used truck that has been pretty well kept up. Remember, in this era things like a roof, head lights, tail lights and other such things were options. The wheels and frame are flat coated; the cab and hood are gloss coated. I thought that might make it look a little more like a used truck. The doors dropped down into the side of the cab. So I only put one coat of gloss coat on the door to make it look a little different since it would have been down and protected from the sunlight the rest of the cab was exposed to.
