I built this 1986 issue 1/25 Revell Peterbilt Canadian Hauler around 30 years ago. The truck and trailer have been displayed on a shelf pretty much since they were built. So you can imagine how dirty the were. I cleaned them, made a few repairs and took the pics. Then repaired what I broke taking pics.
The trailer is almost all scratch built except for the rear suspension, wheels/tires and the frame area around them (AMT Lowboy). It modeled after a trailer used to transport electrical transformers. It comes apart so that a shorter deck (not built) can be inserted to convert it to a shorter deck lighter weight trailer that hooks directly to the back of the truck. I know the connecting lines are attached to the trailer instead of the truck. I was just easier to disconnect everything this way.
I move the trailer on a board to try to keep from breaking it, the glue is old. The backhoe is just to show size. The trailer is 44 inches long.
