The Grumman X-29 was an American experimental aircraft that tested a forward-swept wing, canard control surfaces, and other novel aircraft technologies. The X-29 was developed by Grumman, and the two built were flown by NASA and the United States Air Force. (Wikipedia)
I thought a fighter version of the X-29 would be a good addition to the collection. I will call it a F-29. I built it way back in 2001,hence the 01 number on the tail. The decals have started to yellow, but I still enjoy it next to the other U.S. fighters.
