I bought this resin M59 as a built model. It was pretty nicely done, but has a few issues. One track is on backwards, the green on the packs and stowage was off-color and a couple of small parts were broken. I painted the stowage with the only green I had left. Wrong shade, so I'm waiting for a new paint order to arrive in the mail. The small items were repaired, but I'm thinking the tracks will stay as-is. They are individual resin links, just too much work. There are a couple of other small things wrong, but since this is a hard to find/build M59 I am happy with it.
The M59 was an American armored personnel carrier that entered service in the spring of 1954 replacing the M75. Production ended in 1960, by which time approximately 6,300 had been built. The M84 Mortar Carrier was a derivative of the M59. The M59 was replaced in service by the M113 family of vehicles. courtesy of Wiki
