With all the virus worries and closures, I'm spending more time at home with the computer (no cell phone). I've got plenty of Mt Dew, hobby stuff and a good attitude. I just got a new order of Tonkin 1/87 trucks in the mail and I've pulled out some 1970 Chevelles that need some TLC. I'm starting to look for more of the older 1/87 scale trucks. I am surprised how much I have come to enjoy collecting them. Life is good.
I also collect Garrett Freightlines memorabilia. I sold/traded a bunch of unbuilt car models for some cash and display boxes. That is really nice. I'm getting the Garrett stuff put together in easy to handle displays. Any of y'all have any Garrett stuff to sell/donate? (remember you have to join here to use the PM function) My displays will be donated to the American Truck Historical Society, Snake River Chapter when I croak. In the mean time: I give the extras to other members and keep a box of items to trade. If any of you have any trucks (scale) or trucking company stuff to donate: I can get it to the ATHS/SRC for their displays/use.
Spending more time at home just means I get to do what I enjoy! Keep a positive attitude and stop by often!!
