This is an older build of an F-4D Phantom of the "Triple Nickle" Tactical Fighter Squadron , based at Udorn Thailand, during the Viet Nam war. This one is a tribute to Ace Steve Richie. Note the LORAN (towel rack) antenna on the spine. His aircraft didn't have LORAN. This model is accurate only in the tail markings that would have placed it at Udorn. The decals are still available and I hope to build an accurate F-4D someday.
